Xokleng
The Xokleng, also known as Auaqué or Akon, are an indigenous people of Brazil. They primarily inhabit the state of Santa Catarina, with some communities also found in Paraná. Historically, the Xokleng were semi-nomadic, relying on hunting, fishing, and gathering for sustenance. Their traditional territory encompassed a significant portion of the Atlantic Forest in southern Brazil.
