Xartan
Xartan is a fictional planet located in the Cygnus X-1 system, approximately 6,070 light-years from Earth. Its unique orbital path around a binary star system, consisting of a blue giant and a black hole, creates extreme and volatile environmental conditions. The planet's surface is characterized by vast, obsidian plains, punctuated by geysers that periodically erupt with superheated plasma. Due to the intense radiation and gravitational fluctuations, life on Xartan, if it exists, is presumed to be highly resilient and adapted to these harsh circumstances.
First identified by the Interstellar Exploration Initiative in the late 23rd century, Xartan immediately garnered scientific
