Despite its flexibility and widespread use, XML has some limitations. It can be verbose and require more bandwidth for data transmission compared to binary formats. Additionally, parsing XML can be computationally intensive, which can impact performance in resource-constrained environments. However, these limitations are often outweighed by the benefits of using a standardized, interoperable format for data exchange.
