Wywozd

Wywozd is a small rural locality situated in the Masovian Voivodeship of east-central Poland. Administratively it falls within the jurisdiction of Gmina Staroźród, part of Szydłowiec County. The settlement lies roughly 5 kilometres north of the county seat, Szydłowiec, and about 110 kilometres south of the national capital Warsaw. The village is positioned on the northern edge of the Nida river valley, which provides fertile soil for agriculture.

The population of Wywozd is estimated at around 250 residents, a figure that has remained relatively stable over the past decade. The local economy is primarily based on small-scale farming, with most inhabitants engaged in cultivation of cereals and root crops. Additionally, a modest number of families operate family‑owned farms that produce dairy and poultry products for regional markets.

Wywozd does not possess its own municipal government but is represented by a village head (sołtys) within the wider Gmina council. The community is served by a primary school located in the neighbouring village of Staroźród, and a volunteer fire department that provides emergency services to the surrounding area. Cultural life in the village includes traditional Polish festivals, particularly the annual harvest celebration (Dożynki), which draws visitors from surrounding communities.
