The Woolmark is a globally recognized quality certification mark used on wool textiles to indicate authenticity and adherence to defined standards for wool content and performance. The program was established in the 1960s to promote wool’s reputation worldwide and to provide consumers with a trusted indicator of wool authenticity. The certification distinguishes 100% wool products from wool blends, with different licensing requirements for each category. Licensed manufacturers and retailers may display the mark on eligible items, while non-compliant use can result in withdrawal of the rights to use it.
