Wicklingsmotstånd
Wicklingsmotstånd, often shortened to "wick", is a term used in some contexts, particularly in older or specialized mechanical systems, to describe the resistance encountered by a wick or similar fibrous material as it draws liquid. This resistance can affect the rate at which the liquid is transported, for example, in lamps, candles, or certain types of dispensers. The wick's material, its density, and the viscosity of the liquid being drawn are primary factors influencing this resistance.
The phenomenon is related to capillary action, where the liquid is drawn up the wick through surface
