Wentz
Wentz is a surname most commonly encountered in North America due to the prominence of Carson Wentz, an American football quarterback. Carson Wentz (born 1992) played college football at North Dakota State University, where he led the team to multiple championships. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and started as the team’s quarterback in 2017. Wentz helped the Eagles reach Super Bowl LII in the 2017 season, though they lost to the New England Patriots. After his tenure with the Eagles, he played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders.
