Wegari
Wegari is a town and administrative district located in the north‑western part of Ethiopia, within the Amhara Region. It lies in the Dogu'a Tembien woreda, about 30 kilometres north of the regional capital, Bahir Dar, and is situated near the eastern shore of Lake Tana, the largest lake in the country. The town sits at an elevation of around 1,700 metres above sea level, giving it a temperate high‑land climate with pronounced wet and dry seasons.
