Webformats refers to the digital formats and structures used to deliver content over the internet. These formats encompass a range of technical standards and protocols that enable data to be stored, transmitted, and rendered on various devices and platforms.

Webfonts, also known as web typography, are a subset of webformats that involve the use of digital fonts specifically designed for on-screen reading. Webfonts often employ sans-serif and sans-proportional font formats to ensure readable text on low-resolution displays.
