Vækstministeriet

Vækstministeriet, meaning the Ministry of Growth, was a Danish government ministry that existed from 2011 to 2016. Its primary focus was on fostering economic growth and competitiveness within Denmark. The ministry was responsible for a range of policy areas including business development, innovation, entrepreneurship, tourism, and certain aspects of trade and foreign investment.

The Vækstministeriet was established as part of a broader governmental restructuring. Its predecessor was the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs, and its functions were subsequently divided between the Ministry of Business and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science after its dissolution. The aim behind the creation of the Vækstministeriet was to consolidate efforts to stimulate job creation and enhance Denmark's position in the global economy.
