Väävelvesinik

Väävelvesinik, also known as hydrogen sulfide, is a chemical compound with the formula H2S. It is a colorless gas with a characteristic rotten egg smell, detectable even at very low concentrations. Väävelvesinik is flammable and highly toxic.

This gas occurs naturally in the environment, often produced by the decomposition of organic matter containing sulfur by bacteria in the absence of oxygen.
