This creates a circulating current that distributes heat throughout the fluid. Examples include boiling water or the circulation of air in a room.

Radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves, such as infrared radiation. This process does not require a medium and can occur through a vacuum, as demonstrated by the Sun’s heat reaching Earth. All objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit thermal radiation.
