Värinaid
Värinaid, the Estonian term for vibrations, describe oscillatory motions of matter around an equilibrium position. They can be periodic, such as a tuning fork's oscillation, or random, as in ambient noise. Vibrations occur when energy is transferred into a system, or as a result of internal dynamics, and can travel through solids, liquids, and gases.
