Välimuistiohimerkki, often translated as cache tag or cache hint, is a concept used in web development and network infrastructure to manage and control how web content is cached. It's a mechanism that allows servers to communicate caching instructions to intermediate caching layers, such as proxy servers or content delivery networks (CDNs), and also to the end-user's browser. These hints provide more granular control over cache invalidation and expiration than traditional HTTP headers alone.
