Väestönlisäys
Väestönlisäys is a Finnish term that translates to population growth. It refers to the increase in the number of individuals in a population over a specific period. This growth is primarily determined by the balance between births and deaths, and can also be influenced by migration. When the birth rate exceeds the death rate, and there is a net positive migration, the population experiences growth. Conversely, if deaths outnumber births, or if there is significant emigration, the population may decrease.
Factors contributing to population growth are diverse. Improvements in healthcare, sanitation, and nutrition have historically led
