Vuotoanturit

Vuotoanturit, also known as vacuum sensors, are devices used to measure and monitor the pressure within a vacuum system. These sensors are crucial for controlling and maintaining specific vacuum levels in a wide range of industrial, scientific, and medical applications. They operate by converting the physical vacuum pressure into an electrical signal that can be interpreted by control systems or displayed to an operator.

There are several types of vuotoanturit, each suited for different pressure ranges and operating principles. Capacitive vacuum sensors, for example, measure pressure by detecting changes in capacitance between a diaphragm and a fixed electrode, which are affected by the atmospheric pressure pushing on the diaphragm. Pirani sensors, another common type, measure pressure by sensing the thermal conductivity of the gas in the vacuum. As the pressure decreases, the thermal conductivity of the gas also decreases, leading to a change in the resistance of a heated filament within the sensor. Thermocouple gauges are also used, operating on a similar principle of thermal conductivity but utilizing a thermocouple to measure the temperature of a heated element. For very low pressures, ionization gauges are employed, which measure the number of ions created when electrons collide with gas molecules.

The output signal from a vuotoanturi can vary depending on the sensor type and manufacturer, but commonly includes analog voltage or current signals, or digital communication protocols. This allows for seamless integration into automated systems for process control, leak detection, and safety monitoring.
