Vulpix

Vulpix is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is a small fox-like Pokémon with orange fur and nine curling tails, which are often depicted as flames. The tails are used to generate heat and protect the Pokémon; Vulpix is known for its graceful movements and calm demeanor.

In battles, Vulpix uses Fire-type moves; its standard ability is Flash Fire.

Evolution: Vulpix evolves into Ninetales when exposed to a Fire Stone. The evolved form is more powerful and features nine tails with stronger flame effects.

Regional variant: Alolan Vulpix is an Ice-type regional variant found in the Alola region. It evolves into Alolan Ninetales, a Fairy/Ice-type, and has frosty white fur and blue eyes. The Alolan line emphasizes a colder aesthetic and different type combination.

In games and media: Vulpix has appeared in core Pokémon games since its debut and is commonly depicted in animated series and trading card sets as a classic Fire-type fox.
