Vouvray
Vouvray is an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in the Loire Valley of France. It covers vineyards around the village of Vouvray, on the eastern bank of the Loire in the department of Indre-et-Loire. The area is characterized by limestone and clay soils and a temperate climate influenced by the river, producing Chenin Blanc grapes that express the terroir with ageability.
