Voronoialueet, also known as Voronoi regions or Voronoi cells, are a fundamental concept in computational geometry. They are formed by a set of points, often called sites or generators, in a given space. For each site, its Voronoi region consists of all points in the space that are closer to that specific site than to any other site. In simpler terms, imagine drawing a circle around each site; the Voronoi region for a site is the area within the space that is covered by the circle centered at that site before any other circles intersect it.
