Vlaams-Brabant, also known in English as Flemish Brabant, is a province of the Flemish Region of Belgium. It lies in the central part of Flanders and surrounds the Brussels-Capital Region. The provincial capital is Leuven, and other notable towns include Halle, Vilvoorde, Aarschot, Diest and Tienen. The province borders several other Flemish provinces as well as the Brussels region.
