Vismia

Vismia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Hypericaceae. The genus comprises approximately 50 species found in tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. These plants are typically shrubs or small trees, often characterized by their bright yellow or orange flowers and distinctive resinous sap. The leaves are usually opposite and simple, and the fruits are berries or capsules.
