Vishnuprayag
Vishnuprayag is a town and a nagar panchayat in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda River and the Vishnu Ganga River, which is also known as the Dhauliganga River. This confluence is considered one of the five sacred confluences, or Prayags, of the Alaknanda River. The town is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,372 meters above sea level.
