The company's primary brands include VinMart, a supermarket chain, and VinMart+, a convenience store chain. VinMart supermarkets typically offer a wide range of products, including fresh produce, groceries, household goods, and personal care items. VinMart+ stores are smaller and focus on convenience, providing essential daily items and ready-to-eat food options.

VinCommerce aimed to become a leading player in Vietnam's rapidly growing retail sector. The company emphasized providing quality products, competitive pricing, and convenient shopping experiences for consumers across the country. It expanded its network significantly, establishing numerous stores in urban and rural areas. In late 2019, Masan Group acquired a controlling stake in VinCommerce, and the company was subsequently rebranded as MasanConsumer Corporation. This integration aimed to leverage Masan's expertise in consumer goods and distribution to further develop the retail network. The rebranding signified a shift in ownership and strategic direction, with Masan Group taking the helm of the retail operations.
