VinMart

VinMart was a Vietnamese retail chain that operated supermarkets and convenience stores. It was established by Vingroup, a large Vietnamese conglomerate. The VinMart brand encompassed a range of store formats, including VinMart supermarkets, which offered a wider selection of groceries and household items, and VinMart+ convenience stores, which focused on everyday essentials and were often found in more urban and residential areas. The company aimed to provide a modern and convenient shopping experience for Vietnamese consumers.

In December 2019, Vingroup announced that it would divest its retail businesses, including VinMart and VinCommerce, to Masan Group. This strategic shift allowed Vingroup to focus on its technology and industrial sectors. Following the acquisition, VinMart stores began to be rebranded under the Masan Group's supermarket chain, VinMart was a significant player in Vietnam's rapidly growing retail market, contributing to the development of modern retail infrastructure in the country.
