Viimaaika
Viimaaika refers to a period of cold and harsh weather characterized by strong, biting winds, often experienced in northern latitudes. The term is Finnish and directly translates to "wind time" or "windy period." It typically describes a time of year when temperatures are low, and the wind makes the air feel significantly colder than the actual thermometer reading, a phenomenon known as wind chill.
This type of weather can have a considerable impact on both human activity and the natural environment.
Viimaaika is not a scientifically defined meteorological term but rather a descriptive one used in common
