Vieuxia
Vieuxia is a genus of orchids found in New Caledonia. The genus was described by Rudolf Schlechter in 1911 and is named in honor of the French botanist Eugène Vieu. Vieuxia orchids are small, epiphytic plants, meaning they grow on other plants for support but do not feed on them. They are characterized by their delicate, often translucent flowers, which are typically white or pale green.
