Venturimælar, also known as the Icelandic longboat or *langskip*, is a traditional type of Viking ship prominently featured in Icelandic sagas and historical accounts. These vessels were designed for long-distance travel, particularly in the North Atlantic, and played a crucial role in the settlement of Iceland and Greenland during the Viking Age (8th–11th centuries).

The venturimælar was characterized by its elongated, slender hull, which allowed for greater speed and maneuverability in open waters.
