Ventriküllerin, also known as *ventrikül* or *ventrikül karnı*, is a traditional Turkish dessert originating from the Aegean region, particularly associated with the city of İzmir. The name derives from the Turkish word *ventrikül*, meaning "ventricle" or "little belly," which refers to the dessert's distinctive shape resembling a small pouch or pocket.

The dessert is made primarily from layers of thin, flaky pastry dough, often similar to filo or yufka, filled with a sweet, spiced mixture. The filling typically consists of ground nuts, such as pistachios or hazelnuts, combined with sugar, cinnamon, and sometimes rosewater or orange blossom water for added flavor.
