Vektortéren

Vektortéren, also known as vector spaces, are fundamental algebraic structures in mathematics. A vektortér is a set of objects, called vectors, which can be added together and multiplied by scalars. These scalars are typically real or complex numbers. The operations of vector addition and scalar multiplication must satisfy certain axioms. These axioms ensure that the set behaves in a consistent and predictable way.

The concept of a vektortér generalizes the familiar notion of vectors in two- or three-dimensional Euclidean space. However, vektortéren can be much more abstract and can include sets of functions, polynomials, or matrices.
