It refers to the concept of linking or relating vectors, which are mathematical objects possessing both magnitude and direction. In linear algebra and related fields, understanding how vectors connect is fundamental to describing transformations, solving systems of equations, and representing geometric relationships.

Vector connections can manifest in several ways. One common form is through vector addition, where two or more vectors are combined to produce a resultant vector. This operation is visually represented by placing the vectors head-to-tail, with the resultant vector extending from the tail of the first to the head of the last.
