This name was chosen due to the mineral's distinctive, web-like crystal structure, which resembles the patterns often found on web banners. Veebibännerite is a complex oxide mineral, with the chemical formula (Na,K)2Ca2(Fe,Mn)4Ti2O12. It is typically found in granitic pegmatites and is associated with other rare minerals such as astrophyllite and eudialyte.

The mineral exhibits a dark brown to black color, with a metallic luster. Its crystal system is cubic, and it often forms prismatic crystals with a web-like texture.
