Valtiovaikuttajat is a Finnish term that translates to "state influencers" or "political influencers." It broadly refers to individuals or groups who, through their actions, positions, or public standing, exert significant influence over government policy, decision-making, and public discourse within Finland. This can encompass a wide range of actors beyond elected officials.

Elected politicians, such as Members of Parliament, ministers, and local councilors, are primary valtiovaikuttajat. However, the term also extends to influential figures in other spheres. This includes high-ranking civil servants and officials within government ministries and agencies who shape policy implementation and provide expertise. Leaders of major trade unions and employer organizations are also significant valtiovaikuttajat, as they represent the interests of large segments of the workforce and businesses, often engaging in negotiations that impact economic and social policy.
