Valokennos

Valokennos is a Finnish term that translates to "light cell" or "photocell" in English. It generally refers to a device that detects and responds to light. In its simplest form, a valokennos can be a basic light-dependent resistor (LDR) or photodiode, which changes its electrical resistance or generates a current when exposed to light.

These devices are widely employed in various applications where automatic light detection is required.
