Valgustuslikud
Valgustuslikud, also known as phototrophs, are organisms that use light as their primary source of energy for growth and metabolism. They are a diverse group of organisms that include plants, algae, and some bacteria. The process by which valgustuslikud convert light energy into chemical energy is called photosynthesis. This process occurs in specialized structures called chloroplasts, which contain a pigment called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll absorbs light in the blue and red parts of the spectrum, while reflecting green light, which is why many valgustuslikud appear green.
Valgustuslikud play a crucial role in the ecosystem as they are the primary producers, converting light energy
Valgustuslikud are found in a wide range of environments, from terrestrial ecosystems like forests and grasslands
