VQarvoa is a fictional city-state described in world-building and speculative geography. It is positioned in the Valeran Basin, with the Misty Ridge to the north and the Sera Desert to the south, shaping its climate and caravan routes.

The term VQarvoa combines elements from regional linguistic traditions; 'VQ' is a titular prefix, while 'arvoa' is associated with 'valley' or 'hollow'.

Geography and climate: At altitudes around 900–1,100 meters, VQarvoa has a semi-arid climate with cool winters and hot, dry summers. The Vqar River and its terraces support orchards and cereal crops.

History: The city was founded in the 12th century by caravan families and grew as a waypoint on the Trans-Saren trade corridor. It later came under several empires before attaining city-state autonomy in the 19th century and formal status in the early 20th.
