Individuals with normal color vision can easily discern the hidden figures, while those with color vision deficiencies may struggle or be unable to see them.

Another common test is the Farnsworth D-15 test, which presents a series of colored caps that the patient must arrange in a specific order according to hue. This test can provide a more detailed assessment of the type and severity of a color vision deficiency. Other tests may involve comparing different shades of colored yarns or using specialized computer-based assessments.
