Uxellio
Uxellio was a Gallic oppidum, or fortified settlement, located in what is now the Lot department of southwestern France. It is primarily known for its role in the final stages of Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars. In 52 BCE, during the revolt led by Vercingetorix, Uxellio became a crucial stronghold for the Gallic forces.
