Uvdomovat

Uvědomovat (often written in non-diacritic texts as uvdomovat) is a Czech verb that denotes the process of becoming aware or realizing something. It is used in both imperfective and perfective aspects, frequently in reflexive form with si: uvědomovat si means to realize or be aware of in a ongoing or general sense, while uvědomit si refers to a specific moment of realization.

Etymology and related forms. The verb is built from the noun vědomí (awareness, knowledge) with the prefix u- and the verb stem vědomovat.
