Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) is a Russian machine-building company based in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast. It is one of the world’s largest producers of main battle tanks and a major producer of railway rolling stock, with products spanning armored fighting vehicles to freight cars. The company operates as part of Rostec, the Russian state corporation.
