Unnationalized

Unnationalized refers to a state or condition where something, typically an industry, company, or asset, has not undergone the process of nationalization. Nationalization is the act of a government taking control of private property or industries. Therefore, an unnationalized entity remains under private ownership and management.

This term is often used in contrast to nationalized entities. For example, a country might have some industries that are state-owned (nationalized) while others remain in private hands (unnationalized).
