Umweltwege
Umweltwege, literally environmental paths, are outdoor trails designed to educate visitors about local ecosystems, sustainable practices, and environmental protection while providing recreational walking. They are usually prepared as marked routes, often circular, so walkers can complete a loop without retracing steps. Along the way, interpretive signs, informational panels, and sometimes interactive stations present topics such as biodiversity, water cycles, energy use, resource conservation, climate change, and waste management. Some paths incorporate digital elements—QR codes or apps—linking to extended content or games.
