Uithuizen
Uithuizen is a village and former municipality in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Smallingerland, about 10 kilometers east of Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland. The village is situated on the banks of the Boorne, a tributary of the Lauwers.
