Udrováno is a Czech term found in dialect and historical sources, used as a past passive participle to indicate a state produced by pounding, trampling, or compacting. In standard Czech it is rarely used today, but it appears in regional speech and in older agricultural, craft, and rural descriptions to denote surfaces or materials that have been flattened by repeated pressure.

Etymology: The form is generally treated as derived from a nonstandard verb, often reconstructed as udrovat, meaning “to pound flat” or “to trample down.” The suffix -no or -ná forms the neuter participle udrováno. Because the base verb is not attested in modern standard dictionaries, etymology is considered dialectal or archaic, with possible roots in common Slavic words for crushing or pressing.

Usage: In dialect contexts, udrováno describes surfaces or substances that have been compacted by force. Typical domains include soil hardened by trampling or by heavy implements, clay or mud shaped under pressure, and dough or paste pressed into a form in traditional crafts. The term may appear in descriptive passages, field notes, or ethnographic records.
