Ubiaserte is a fictional plant species frequently referenced in speculative biology and world-building. It is described as the sole species in the genus Ubiasertea, placed in the fictional family Ubiasertaceae.

The name Ubiaserte combines a Latin-root prefix with a fictional suffix, intended to evoke resilience across diverse habitats.

Ubiaserte plants are small shrubs, about 0.6 to 1.2 meters tall, with glossy evergreen leaves arranged alternately. They have a conspicuous translucent midrib that can glow faintly at night. The flowers are small and tubular, typically white to violet, and appear in summer; the fruit is a dry capsule with winged seeds.

In the imagined distribution, Ubiaserte occurs in montane cloud forests and highland shrublands at elevations of 1,200 to 2,200 meters. It prefers acidic, nutrient-poor soils and forms mutualisms with native pollinators like hummingbirds and hawkmoths; wind aids seed dispersal.

In fiction, the plant is valued for resin and leaves with antiseptic and dye properties. It is sometimes depicted as a ceremonial plant in Eldaran cultures and as a source of pigments in speculative floras.

The fictional taxonomy is attributed to botanist A. Kest, described in 2143 within the encyclopedia of Eldaran flora; as a fictional taxon, Ubiaserte has no empirical specimens or field data.
