Tüpiseerimist

Tüpiseerimist, also known as tubal ligation, is a surgical procedure for permanent sterilization in females. It involves blocking or cutting the fallopian tubes, which are the passageways that carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. By preventing the egg from reaching the uterus and sperm from reaching the egg, pregnancy is prevented.

The procedure can be performed in several ways. Ligation and cutting of the tubes is a common method, as is sealing the tubes using heat (cauterization) or specially designed clips or rings. It can be done as a standalone procedure or sometimes in conjunction with other abdominal surgeries, such as a Cesarean section. The surgery can be performed laparoscopically, which involves small incisions and a camera, or through a larger abdominal incision.

Tüpiseerimist is considered a highly effective method of birth control. However, like any surgical procedure, it carries some risks, including infection, bleeding, damage to other organs, and complications from anesthesia. While generally irreversible, in some cases, reversal surgery may be possible, though success rates vary and are not guaranteed. For these reasons, it is typically recommended for individuals who are certain they do not wish to have any future pregnancies.
