Tüdfunkciók
Tüdfunkciók is a term used in dermatology to describe the series of biological processes that lead to the formation and resolution of acne lesions, commonly known as pimples. The word is derived from the Hungarian noun tüf, meaning “pimple,” and the suffix –funkciók, meaning “functions.” The concept encompasses several interconnected mechanisms: follicular hyperkeratinization, increased sebum production, colonization by Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes), and the ensuing inflammatory response.
During follicular hyperkeratinization, the outer layer of the scrotum thickens, causing a blockage in the hair
Treatment strategies target one or more of the tüdfunkciók: topical retinoids reduce hyperkeratinization; topical or oral
