Töltésállapot, often translated as "charge state" or "state of charge," refers to the current level of electrical energy stored within a rechargeable battery. It is typically expressed as a percentage of the battery's total capacity. A fully charged battery has a charge state of 100%, while a completely depleted battery has a charge state of 0%.

Understanding the töltésállapot is crucial for managing portable electronic devices, electric vehicles, and energy storage systems. Knowing the charge state allows users to estimate how much longer a device will operate or how much further an electric vehicle can travel before requiring recharging.
