Täytäntöönpanovat is a Finnish legal term referring to the enforcement authorities. These are bodies responsible for carrying out court judgments and other enforceable decisions. The primary enforcement authority in Finland is the Enforcement Office (ulosottolaitos), headed by the Chief Enforcement Officer.

The tasks of the enforcement authorities are broad and include, among other things, collecting debts, seizing property, and evicting individuals from properties based on court orders. They act as intermediaries between creditors and debtors, ensuring that legal obligations are met. This can involve collecting unpaid taxes, child support, or damages awarded in civil cases.

Enforcement proceedings are initiated by a creditor who obtains an enforceable judgment. The Enforcement Office then investigates the debtor's financial situation and assets. Based on this investigation, they can take measures such as wage garnishment, seizure of bank accounts, or liquidation of movable or immovable property to satisfy the debt. The process is governed by strict legal procedures designed to protect the rights of both parties involved. The aim is to provide an effective mechanism for realizing legal rights when voluntary compliance is not forthcoming.
