Täisteratootes refers to a food product made from whole grains. In Finnish, "täistera" translates to whole grain, and "tootes" means product. This designation signifies that the entire grain kernel – including the bran, germ, and endosperm – has been used in the making of the product. This contrasts with refined grain products, where the bran and germ are typically removed, leaving only the starchy endosperm.

The consumption of whole grain products is generally associated with numerous health benefits. The bran and germ are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Fiber, in particular, aids digestion, promotes satiety, and can help regulate blood sugar levels. Whole grains are also a good source of complex carbohydrates, providing sustained energy.

Common examples of täisteratooted include whole wheat bread, whole grain pasta, brown rice, oats, barley, and many breakfast cereals.
