Työsuoritusta

Työsuoritus is a Finnish term that refers to the performance or execution of work tasks by an employee or contractor. The concept describes the outcome of work—the extent to which duties are completed, and the quality and quantity of the results produced. In practice, työsuoritus is assessed against a job description, contract terms, and agreed-upon performance criteria.

In human resources and management, työsuoritus is evaluated through performance appraisals, productivity measurements, and other indicators such as accuracy, timeliness, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The evaluation can be based on quantitative metrics (for example, units produced, tasks completed, or error rates) and qualitative judgments (for instance problem-solving and collaboration). The weight given to different aspects depends on the nature of the work and the employer’s goals.

In employment relationships, työsuoritus can influence compensation, promotions, and the risk of disciplinary action or termination, in accordance with applicable labor law and collective agreements. In contract work, deliverables and acceptance criteria define what constitutes a satisfactory työsuoritus, and payment is often tied to the completion of specified results.
